Tom Gould
Tom Gould serves as a contracted Senior Compliance Specialist at Zisser. He is a leading US Import Compliance Specialist with a special emphasis on the design and implementation of import compliance systems and procedures for importers. He focuses on simplifying the classification process of apparel products by creating simple and easy-to-use guidelines and tools.
In addition, Tom has deep knowledge and experience with free trade agreements, such as NAFTA, CAFTA, and the US agreements with countries including, Australia, Chile, Israel and Singapore. He also advises on special programs, among them: CBTPA, AGOA, and TPLs. His understanding and expertise on how to appropriately utilize these programs has led to companies’ maximizing their benefits and improving their supply chains. Tom’s compliance systems have saved his clients millions of dollars.
Tom is also well known for his highly informative and dynamic training presentations, which provide the basic framework for effective HTS classification of apparel industry products for companies and associations. He has been actively involved in the international trade industry for over 16 years. Tom is a licensed US Customs Broker and a member of the US Customs Trade Support Network.
